​What is CTE?

Career and Technical Education (CTE) are courses offered in the Business, Family & Consumer Science, and Technology Education Departments at Nekoosa High School.



What can I earn?

Besides learning important information and skills in these different classes you can also earn college credit through Mid-State Technical College with successful completion of several courses. You also have the chance to earn money while working and earning high school credit through the Work Study and Youth Apprenticeship programs!

Are there special certifications I can earn?
Absolutely! If you become part of the Work Study or Youth Apprenticeship programs you could earn the Employability Skills Certificate offered through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction or from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
